Brown Fused Alumina
Brown Fused Alumina is a dense material produced from bauxite raw material.Brown fused aluminum oxide is a tough, hard material (Mohs hardness 9) with high strength, excellent wear and corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity.It is used in manufacturing of grinding wheels (both vitrified and resin bonded) , coated products, shot blasting and as polishing media. Refractory grade BFA is used as a raw material in the manufacture of high alumina refractories.
